I was involved in the launch of Northern Health’s new Totara Learning Management System, myLearning.
This included developing an internal style guide for in-house online development and the design of the site in keeping with our style guide and that on Northern Health.
We produced templates for course structure (online, face-to-face and blended) and rules around roles, assessments and visual hierarchy for site consistency. How-to videos and user tours helped familiarise staff on using the platform.
This remains a work in progress and is constantly being evaluated based on data collected and feedback around its use.
